Why is SQL so mistrusted?

Recently I read a vacancy in one large gaming company, where there were requirements for experience with a non-SQL database.
Why so categorically?

@Ingernirated

because NoSQL can, for example, leak
or abruptly stop holding RPS ,
which is why "experience" is needed here;
conventional RDBMS have already reached the ceiling algorithmically, and compete more with services
