Why is space not working in notepad++?

Spaces do not work in notepad++ v7.8.7. They are not visible in notepad++, although the number of characters (length) changes at the bottom.
Line wrapping works.



When opening the file in the Google Chrome browser, the spaces between the words appeared, but the line breaks disappeared.

Who faced similar and how solved this question. Please help, share your experience. Thank you.

PS In other versions of notepad++ spaces don't work either. I checked.

What's the font? Perhaps that's the issue.
