Why is Select2 multiple not working in ActiveForm?

Good day! I connect the Select2 plugin to my project, and I ran into such a problem, multiple does not work in ActiveForm. At what without ActiveForm everything works correctly. I installed the version of the plugin from Kartik-v, the same multiple does not work, just a text field in which all the options go in order. Can you tell me what could be the problem and how to fix it? Thanks a lot!

The problem was resolved after all, without exception, styles and scripts were connected through the AppAsset file, before that I connected several scripts on the page with the defer attribute.
