Why is Ruby an underrated language?
The question is not for the sake of a holivar, I'm interested to know what factors affect the popularity of languages? Or everything, like people, without certain circumstances and good luck, no where? The same Python , in my opinion, is less expressive, the code on it is like a strict instruction , and Ruby is like a poem , but its popularity is not so high than Python . Maybe it's all about taste? But then, isn't a programmer a creative person? In my opinion, Ruby is more like a pen.

Specifically, in the case of Ruby VS Python, it's not a matter of taste, but that Python has a simple and efficient two-way interoperability with C \ C ++.
