Why is Pug adding a variable tag?

I add a mixin from a separate file and include it at the beginning of the template, the tag is added after compilation <variable></variable>, how can I fix this?
If you insert the mixin into the file itself, then everything compiles fine, without this tag.

So you wrote it yourself after include ../mixins
