Why is php mongo driver not working?

A script that worked on a different server with mongo crashes with an error: PHP
Fatal error: Class 'MongoClient' not found
mongi driver not working. However, in phpinfo() I see that the mongi driver is running.
How is this possible? What could be the problem?

I noticed the magical properties of the toaster. Until you ask, it won't start.
I reinstalled the driver (I did it before the question) and now everything started up.
