You are not doing something.
What kind of pages do you have “Women's clothing” and “Men's clothing”, if this is a category archive, then pagination there should be once it works on the main store.
And if these are the pages on which you drive the product through the product_categories shortcode , then everything is also correct, it is not provided there, but why these pages are needed is not clear at all
