Why is not all data in Joomla database?

Joomla 1.5, I went to the database, and since last year there have been no news, no comments, but everything is fresh and new on the site.
How can it be that there is no data in the database, but there are on the site?
I updated the cache, did a database check, downloaded and checked with editors, but there really is nothing new there.
This database is registered in the site settings

A fairly common reason for such incomprehensibility is that people forgot or did not know that they were looking at the wrong server from which they see the site in the browser.
Sobsno, this is the only reasonable explanation for the difference.
