Why is Nodejs with Cloud9 eating memory?

Installed Nodejs, Cloud9 on Ubuntu Server. The server.js process takes up 3 gigabytes of RAM. There is only one physical user.
What is it and how to overcome it?

There can be many reasons.
You need to profile.
