Why is nginx built with some other default settings?

I downloaded the nginx sources for Ubuntu via apt-get source nginx. I compile through checkinstall and install. No nginx autostart scripts appear in unitd. The logs are written to some other folders .. in general, I don’t see everything that is with apt-get install nginx.
How so? These are the nginx sources from the ubunta repository. Why are they different from what I get through install nginx

The source codes for ubunta must be downloaded with the command apt-get source nginx, everything will be there as the ubunta/debian maintainers have finished.
