Because the game Rust is very demanding on resources.
And in the minimum requirements on Steam, developers write what they themselves want to write, so they can easily overestimate or underestimate.
Well, no one will tell you that way, because looking for a reason according to the characteristics of a computer is like guessing on coffee grounds. You need to study and see where you have subsidence. Maybe you have two browsers running in parallel, and there just isn’t enough RAM. Maybe the video card drivers are of some buggy version. Maybe somewhere some settings are not the same after your past experiments. Maybe a virus. Yes, whatever it could be. Study.
