Why is MODX unstable?

First time trying to install a site on MODX. After installing the CMS on the hosting, everything periodically starts to fall - the browser shows a blank page. And the most interesting thing is that if the site stops loading in Google Chrome, then it loads in Safari, after some time (half an hour or an hour) everything repeats, but already in Safari there is an empty page, and in Chrome everything is fine. I checked on Windows 10 and on MacOS 10.12.6 on different machines - the situation repeats itself. It is possible that out of absolute inexperience I made a completely stupid mistake somewhere. Can anyone suggest what could be the problem?
