Why is Mikrotik dhcp distributing the wrong subnet?
Incredible weird post. There is Mikrotik HaP. It has DHCP, lan and wlan devices in the bridge.
router
ip 192.168.20.20/24 dhcp pool 192.168.20.200-192.168.20.250
bridge interface.
But this bastard indulges in nostalgia and confidently distributes 192.168.88.0/24 via DHCP, not wanting to even listen to a reset to the factory.
upd26042016: The task is getting more difficult. DHCP 192.168.88.0/24 is suddenly distributed strictly on WinXP SP1 (don't ask), when switching to live hardware, the dog began to drive the devil thicker and stopped giving the gateway and mask via DHCP. But while there is simply no gateway, the mask, with the prescribed 24, takes spontaneous values 0.0.0.0, 255.0.0.0, 255.255.255.255. I'll get home, I'll post the config output, as requested.
But can anyone caught similar symptoms?

And show the output:
/ip dhcp-server print
/ip dhcp-server network print
/ip pool print
You need to reset not to factory settings, but delete the factory config completely immediately after purchasing the device. Setting up a router from scratch is not difficult, and cleaning out all the non-obvious tails from the standard configuration is extremely time-consuming. The pool was most likely created, but the old one remained attached to the server.
Upd if you have ancient XP there, then you need to run
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
and reinstalling the drivers on the network card.
I can suggest an easy way to find a bug in the config. Do /export file=config
, then copy config.rsc to your computer and search the file in a text editor for the given IP address. 100% you will find the error. Please post where the bug was. even interesting)
Carelessness. If you created a new ip on the interface. That default hasn't gone anywhere
it looks like you are giving leases, this time also when showing the config do not print but export.
reset it to zero/system reset-configuration no-defaults=yes
Do you have other routers on the network? Often the solution to the problem is much simpler.
