Why is Live preview in Brackets jumping?

How do you deal with page/scroll jumping when editing css in brackets?

When I started to deal with this problem, I was alerted by the fact that, on some projects, this problem is not observed. Further, by scientific poke, I found out that, in my case, the problem was in the CSS file. In syle.css I imported reset.css I removed the line @import url(reset.css)from syle.css and included reset.css directly in the index.html header, after which everything worked.
