Why is Linux debian 8 jessie not searching for bluetooth devices?

The essence of the problem: on the PC is debian 8 (xfce). Blueman starts up and sees that the usb bluetooth adapter is connected. But when searching for devices, it does not find anything. Also, it is not visible from other devices, although in the adapter settings there is a checkmark for visibility. Another point, in the settings window of the blueman adapter there are three dots instead of the name. The adapter worked fine on Windows, but on Linux it doesn't want something.
Thanks in advance for your replies!

Show lsusb logs. Your adapter may be in HID mode and you need to switch it to HCI. Some Logitech adapters have a small red button for this purpose, and you need to hold it down while inserting it.
