Why is JavaCV needed if OpenCV already has a library for connecting to a Java project?
Hello. Just starting to learn OpenCV and computer vision in general. While reading the articles, I came across the fact that there is also a JavaCV interface for working with OpenCV. So it's not clear whether it makes sense to use JavaCV? maybe there are some additional functions?
Thank you very much in advance!

Watermelons were stolen from one man all summer,
he was tired of all this and he put up a sign:
"One watermelon is poisoned!"
The next day he comes, looks at all the whole watermelons,
and there is a sign next to him : "Now there are two of them! "
