Why is jade not responding to a post request?

I'm trying to render a jade template using express:

app.post('/registration', (req, res) => {
  res.render('main.jade');
});

And in the console I see: res.render is not a function
At the same time, the get-request is processed normally. It turns out that a POST request cannot render jade?
