Why is it saying “Can't find...” when populating a GitHub repository?

So, I need to upload a project to the github, consisting of the scene of the main menu of the game (11 thousand elements in total) and the actual game scene itself (almost 300 thousand elements). I created two repositories for each separately. I went to the github on the desktop, cloned the repository for the scene heads there, uploaded it there, sent it to the site. I went to the site, everything is there, everything has been added. Everything is wonderful. I'm trying to do the same with a game scene that weighs 30 times more - at some point, when uploading files to a copy of the repository on the computer, it gives the error "Can't find "repository name". It was last seen at С:(path to the repository folder on your computer). Check again." , that is, here we are copying files to a folder, at the same time I watch how the data on the number of files and their content of the code are updated in the application, then bam, with the next update of this "Refreshing repository" it starts loading for half an hour, then it gives out the same "Can't find ..." And initially, yesterday I managed to completely upload all the files to the folder, clicked on "commit" and waited almost two hours, while this commit is being loaded, I decided that something went wrong, and decided to redo it, even created a new repository anew. As a result, since then I have not had any successful attempts to fill in this unfortunate project with a content of 300 thousand elements. Or it reaches 170-220 thousand, and in the application they are all displayed, everything is fine, and then bam, and abruptly this cant find, I try to restart the git hub application itself, because everything has already been completely copied to the file, it should be displayed, and again from the beginning turns on, they say, these 170-220 thousand were found there, it starts to be updated, and again dont find, or not displayed at all, this "Refreshing repository" is constantly loading. Already tried to remake everything. Killed two days for this. What to do? Why does this problem occur, and how to solve it? Why did everything work with a smaller project, but not here?

@Telegrama

I have never uploaded more than 150 files to a github repository.
But I dare to suggest that you can try to download ~ 70-100k files, make a commit, publish the repository, and so, upload each commit 70-100k files until you download everything.
Let me know if this solution works for you.
