Why is aws elastic beanstalk so weird?

I've been watching for about six months now.
Once the archive deploys, the second time the same archive does not deploy with the error "failed to install npm dependencies".
The third time the same archive is deployed. A day has passed, the same archive, it now deploys without problems all week. Another week has passed, and now he does not deploy the same archive again. A new version of the platform has been released, it stopped deploying the archive, you update the version, it starts deploying. A month passes, he again does not deploy this archive.
What is happening to him and why he cannot stably master the same archive.

Do you have NodeJS? I worked with him less in Beanstalk, but in general I don’t remember such behavior. Take a look at Amazon's tutorial for NodeJS, check out https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/lates... and compare with your zip.
