Why is a forwarded port not opening from the local network?
Hello.
More shortly such situation:
There is a house server 192.168.222.6. I wanted access to the web-face of the torrent downloader.
From my network I go to 192.168.222.6:9091 - I get into the transmission web face. OK.
I made port forwarding on the router:
my.domain:91 PREROUTING -dnat to 192.168.222.6:9091
If you connect from outside, it works fine.
If you connect from LAN to my.domain:91 - connection timeout. But on IP - works.
I feel that the traffic is lost somewhere in the routing tables, but I can't figure out where...
