Why is a 404 error thrown?

Hello, I did multilingualism on the site using the babel plugin, at first everything was fine. Then, for some reason, a 404 error began to fly out and not the page of the site itself, but the hosting error page, and such an error occurred only on existing resources, if there is no resource, then the created (normal) 404 error flies out.
I tried to output errors through htaccess, but neither which did not work, the hosting page immediately opens.
