Why is 23°C chosen for many GOST tests?
Why is 23°C chosen for many GOST tests?
For example, an extract from GOST 27896-88:
"Tests are carried out at a temperature of (23 ± 2) ° C.
It is allowed to carry out tests at elevated temperatures: 40, 50, 55, 70 and 85 ° C with a maximum deviation of ± 1 ° C."
I need a rationale for this temperature of 23°C. Maybe it's in some statute or something.
