Please tell me why the created index.php in PHPstorm is not a php file and therefore all the code in it is not valid?

It is not clear why, but in the PHPStorm settings, the index.php file is recognized as a text file and the corresponding markup is included.
In order to change this, go to Preferences-->File Types--> in the Recognized File Types block, select the Text type, then delete index.php from Registered Patterns
