Why don't session cookies disappear in Google Chrome?

Good morning,

after updating Chrome to 23.0.1271.91 m, after closing the entire application, cookies set for the duration of the session stopped being deleted.

We checked it on a neighboring machine with version 23.0.1271.64 m - everything is deleted there, as it should.

Is this a bug, or a feature?
