Why don't programmable buttons work in MS Access?

There is a medical database full of people and their personal files. Basically, the base consists of three forms: "list", "Personal file" and "Diagnosis"; Two queries: "list" and "new list"; And the tables: "the case is the original." The latter depends on "new list". All this is stored in *.accde format. The latest version of the program is being used.
The essence of the problem is as follows: After cleaning the cache, temporary files, defragmenting the cache, hard disk and checking it for errors, when the database file is moved to another directory or when it is renamed, the buttons in the database interface cease to function, the list elements are not counted. But at the same time, I can manually drive in the data in the query, but not in the database interface.
It is worth noting that I work with this base as a workflow, and not for the purpose of training. On it did not manage to understand yet access'e, and visual basic'e. I do not understand how changing the directory or changing the name affects the functionality of the database, due to the cleaning of the computer from all evil.
I would be glad for any hint to solve this problem, since I still try to master this software due to the fact that the work of many bodies of our organization depends on me and this base, I already have to make changes to the organization of this base.
OS: Windows 8.1 x64

Most likely, protection against unknown macros works - somewhere the file along the given path is registered as trusted and therefore it works.

And the implementation on macros, with a probability of 99 percent. Microsoft has macros disabled by default and is not trusted. There are two options - to make the file trusted by opening it through the office, and - the correct one, to replace macros with program code and not use it.
