Why don't most javascript scripts work at work?

New computer. Windows 7 sp1 - installed from scratch. Minimum software.
Five browsers - chrome, fox, ie, opera, tor browser. kaspersky antivirus free.
All settings of all software by default. New computer - minimum changes.
At home, all scripts on sites (on the Internet) work. In any browser.
I went to the site, the menu fell out - I chose - I got the result.
At work, most of the "complex" scripts on sites (on the Internet) do not work. Complex ones are ajax jquery loading something asynchronous. They do not work everywhere except the tor browser.
I went to the site, the menu fell out - I chose it - nothing happens.
Sites different, large companies. Scripts are different.
Everything works in tor browser.
The computer at work is not in the domain, just connected to the network. Aipishnik and all settings are issued via dhcp.

If there is a corporate proxy or firewall (or both) - then any of them can stupidly cut *.js files :) Or block it in some other way.

Well, start sorting out:
1) Try to open sites with an anonymizer like cameleo
2) Try to disable the antivirus
3) If there is a whistle whistle from some Yota, then try disconnecting the current wire and access the Internet through the whistle.
4) Check if javascript is enabled in browsers. I don’t know how alternative browsers support group policies, but at one of the jobs everyone had only ie, and the admin managed to block js for everyone. Moreover, it blocked it so much that when you climb into the browser settings, the "allow js execution" checkbox was disabled and you can't turn it on yourself.
Well, and most importantly: go to the admin who rules the network. I had something similar at work: WebSockets, Server-sent events, Forever Frames, Long polling did not work. The blocking was at the network level, persuaded the admin to add exceptions.
