Why doesn't Woocommerce display categories? because of the subcategories considers the top level empty?
Friends, the problem is that categories with subcategories are no longer displayed on the product page. The directory structure is like this - There is an upper category in it, several subcategories and there are already products in them, but where such a structure is applied, WP does not display them at all, not through short codes, not through the admin panel, where there is only a category and products, everything is there without problems.
The only thought that was that in the admin panel on the Category page in the Record column for the top-level Categories is = "0", => I think Vp considers them empty and does not display, friends help me please, there is little information on the Internet, I don’t know what to do already: (

I understand that it is no longer relevant) but someone can help. Solved the same problem like this. I created a product with any name, "test" for example, and added it to the main category that is not displayed, in the "publish" column, which set the visibility to "private" on the right. The result is that in this category the product is not displayed, but the category displays.
