Why doesn't Visual Studio Code and command line play the mp3 file?

Perhaps the question is very stupid, but I could not find a solution. I have a code which is supposed to run an audio file in python. When you run it in the python shell, the desired file is played. But the command line and Visual Studio Code remain silent without throwing any errors. Tell me, please, what to do.
