Why doesn't VirtualBox (macOS) see the iPhone?

Downloaded plugin for USB ports for VM.
In the USB section added Apple Inc. iPhone.
I start the virtual machine - from the main USB OS it immediately crashes, and in theory I should connect to the virtual machine from the Mac, but no. There absolutely nothing happens, and the iPhone stops charging. What could be the problem?
The fact is that I wrote my application on XCode, and I need to transfer it to the iPhone.

Install the add-on VBoxDarwinAdditions.pkg.

So you won’t succeed if you use only a virtual machine and MacOs to transfer the application. Apple has tightened the rules for this. Now the only way out is to use programs for remote connection of USB devices like UNG https://www.net-usb.com/virtual-usb/virtualbox-usb...
The article describes the process.
