Why doesn't the captive portal's login page appear when arp spoofing?
Please help me figure it out. I create a wifi access point "TestwifiAP" on the wlan1 interface. I redirect all traffic from the 80th port to the Apache server with the authorization page. When you connect your phone to this "TestwifiAP", everything works fine - the captive portal authorization page (CNA page) pops up, you can log in and use it. Now the second situation. I don’t create anything, but I connect to my home network (normal wifi network), turn on arp spoofing on my machine with kali, set ip_forward to 1. Then I redirect all traffic from port 80 to the Apache server with the authorization page. But now, when connecting the same phone to this home wifi, the authorization page does not pop up. Why? Is it supposed to or am I wrong?
