Why doesn't the Atom editor clean up after itself?

Each time the Atom editor is launched , it spawns a process - node.exe Evented I / O for V8 JavaScript (32 bits), in fact,
the whole family of editors based on " Electron " spawns it, but if " Brackets " and " Visual Studio Code " after closing this the process is killed, then Atom is not.
And every time it starts, it creates a new one. The result is such a disgrace. How to treat it?
PS And the combination "ctrl + shift + /" does not work yet (comment out the block of code) what can you advise?d53a0353ed5b40f19ce36397ae523ce7.png
