Why doesn't the Angular 2 documentation say anything about angular-cli?

For me, the documentation of angular has been looking strange and stupid for more than a year, I would say. For example, I decided to try the second one, I see how my application components are pulled together one at a time, I google how to assemble for production, I see that in order not to be very painful, you need to SUDDENLY use angular-cli, about which there is not a word in the documentation.
