Why doesn't the add item helper method work in shopkeeper 3?

When you click yes, the product flies towards the basket but is not added to it.
The remaining methods work and add a product.
What could be the problem?

See what the js-console writes, look for and resolve conflicts.
Try using standard product and cart output chunks.
Comment out all js code not required for this task
