Why doesn't sticky footer work in Materialize CSS?

I'm trying to use the footer sticks of this framework. Everything is simply written, but in reality it doesn't work - codepen.io/dhatt/pen/zKoVzP
Where is the mistake? It also says that you just need to add the code - materializecss.com/footer.html

Everything before the footer wrap in <main></main>
Well or use your own container with flex: 1 0 autoand wrap everything in it.
