Why doesn't speech synthesis read text?

There is a written speech synthesis in Python, the pyttsx3 library is installed and connected. The only problem is that the library is simply silent on entering any Russian text. As I understand it, only English voices are installed in my system. Where can I download and install Russian voices. Or maybe the problem is something else?

You need to install a synthesis engine, a Russian language pack, and the actual voices themselves. There is a good open project RHVoice. Here is the link . You can try to find the current versions on Githab . Through pyttsx3 it connects well. The manual is here
. Perhaps you will need this information
