Why doesn't sane work through ssh tunnel?
Ubuntu 14.04
As you know, the saned scanner server runs on port 6566 + a random port that the server chooses to send images from the scanner to the client. In the saned.conf settings, I limited the port randomness to a single one - 6567. I checked it with netstat, when the scan starts, in addition to 6566, it also opens exactly 6567. Everything works. Next, I forwarded both ports through the ssh tunnel to the local port of my android using the Juice SSH program. After that, in the SANEDroid program, I added localhost to the list of hosts. The scanner on localhost was detected by the program. I pressed scan, the scanner started scanning, however, I did not see the pictures. What is the problem?
