Why doesn't RelativeLayout fill the space to the end with match_parent attribute?

Why doesn't the RelativeLayout fill the entire space of the Toolbar to the end with the match_parent attribute?

Because the toolbar has its own built-in indents. Try adding app:contentInsetStart="0dp" to the Toolbar
