Why doesn't PhpStorm automatically push files to the server after doing a git pull?

In PhpStorm 7.1.3, auto deployment of file changes to a remote server via SFTP is configured.
In the parameters it is indicated (Always) "Upload files automatically and always".
When changing files in the editor - everything works fine.
But when unloading changes from GIT, you have to manually send files to the server, and this is very inconvenient.
Why doesn't PhpStorm upload changes itself?
How can this problem be solved?

Make sure you have the "Upload external changes" checkbox checked right after the dropdown where you selected Always.
