Why doesn't OAuth 2.0 use the token_type=mac token type?
It so happened that I had to get acquainted with OAuth 2.0.
I also read the specification itself:
draft-ietf-oauth-v2-13
and various sources:
OAuth 2.0 in a simple and understandable language
OAuth 2.0 Bearer Token Profile Vs MAC Token Profile
OAuth in Mail.ru
OAuth in Yandex.ru
OAuth in Vk.com
It turned out that on our internets, a pure token is mainly used - that is, a token with token_type=bearer. Why is the mac token not being used, what are the reasons?
