Why doesn't nmap -6 want to work without root privileges?
Actually a subject.
There was a similar problem with ping6, but it was solved by setting the suid bit. nmap helps too, but it doesn't recommend this use. So there must be a more kosher way to make it work with ipv6 (on ipv4 it works fine with user rights).
