Why doesn't js script work inside echo on hosting?

Hello everyone. There was such a delicate case, on the local echo "< script >< / script >" works, but when I uploaded the site to the hosting, it no longer works (js script shows as text). What could be the problem? Is the problem on the host or in the code?
