Why doesn't it work when putting jquery code into a script?

Here is the animation , when you try to put the jquery code into the script, the animation stops working. Because of what there were difficulties with entering the animation on the site. How can I fix it?

Put the function code at the end of the document (but before the body closes), otherwise you are trying to work with dom elements before they are loaded.
