Why doesn't it accept a domain password in Exchange offline?
Hello.
I decided to deal with Exchange here (I didn’t need it at all ...) and stuck with one incomprehensible nonsense.
It seems that I have deployed everything, registered all DNS records both inside the network and outside, I can go to owa and ecp outside the network using the domain login.
But the whole buzz ends when I try to connect Outlook on a host (mobile), which is not in the domain. (when Outlook in the domain directly quickly picks up mail and starts working)
We start asking for a login password and that's it ... trouble
I enter differently
[email protected]
domain\login
login
[email protected]
At least that ...
When checking through MS service, everywhere there is such an error as a result
PAMAGITE =)
What password does he ask for ...

The problem is not in Exchange, but in the combination of Exchange + Nginx + Basic Authentication. I'm not sure that free nginx can be configured to publish Autodiscover, I've wanted to try it myself for a long time - there's no time yet, open port 443 temporarily for Exchange on the Internet bypassing nginx - everything will work for you.
Or use Microsoft certified balancer/reverse proxy ;-)
