Why doesn't Google provide vector source images for their supposedly "open" fonts like Material Icons?
Now, if the software is open, then you can find its source code on GitHub, and although there is a repository for fonts, I have never seen a "vector" there, instead something else, such as PNG like here , which "originals" are not.
I’m not asking the question out of idle interest, it’s just that the same Google made the same Material Icons only in the woff2 format, here they are , and it is not supported by the browser from the Android OS from the same Google. Facepalm, as they say. Well, we need to fix it, but there are problems here too, I got into the "source codes" on GitHub, and there is nonsense.
