Why doesn't fdisk work in debian 10 buster?
I'm already slowly getting used to the fact that many utilities in all distributions are slowly being replaced. Instead of ipconfig comes ip a, instead of iptables comes ufw/firewalld and so on.
Problem on debian 10 buster xfce. man fdisk is. and there is no command to execute fdisk:
bash: fdisk: command not found
While apt-get install fdisk:
fdisk is already the newest version (2.33.1-0.1).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
I'm not very good at linux.

dpkg -L fdisk will show all files in the fdisk package.
which fdisk will find the full path to fdisk from directories in $PATH.
Most likely, the one you need will be in /sbin/fdisk . And most likely not the file is missing, but the /sbin directory is not in $PATH.
Quite recently put Buster - fdisk worked.
It looks like your system is glitched.
In general, the further you go, the worse debian gets. In addition to the fact that there is a normal working repository only for the last release, the system itself is getting more and more buggy.
For example, I was not able to properly install the firewall. I confess, I didn’t tinker for very long.
