Why doesn't fancybox work under wordpress?

I've been fighting for an hour now, I can't make it so that when you click on the "More Info" buttons, the text on the link is displayed, and the transition is not made. I’m already thinking that it’s not me who messes up, but WordPress. Tell me what's wrong?

In the error console, you can see the message: "TypeError: $ is not a function".
Replace the $ symbol with jQuery ( details ).
