Why doesn't dns work in mikrotik?
I don’t know where to dig anymore, so I reset the settings on Mikrotik, since by default it has “router-192.168.88.1” in the static DNS, but for some reason it doesn’t work, it doesn’t ping from the computer
as soon as you add .loc and get router.loc , then everything works.
The question is, why doesn't Mikrotik work out the name without the second part?
here is a photo for clarity joxi.ru/4AkpVQEFMy1XXr
all this is needed in order for domain services to work,
you need to make sure that domain.local is on the 192.168.19.0/24 network, and test.domain.local is on the 192.168.24.0/24 network and with such a scheme, the second domain does not want to be set, it hangs when partitions are replicated, srv.domain.local cannot be found in the logs, although pings pass, I don’t know where to dig anymore

it worked in 2008 r2,
in general, figured it out, the fool himself, as they say,
did not have to register the second server as dns on the first server
, but in 2012 r2 does not want to, it also hangs on replication
. I had to drive 2 servers into the domain to the first one, and then tell him that he is a subdomain, and then everything started up
can you give more details?
who doesn't piss?
is this where router.loc is located?
