Why doesn't Debug.ClearDeveloperConsole work?

Description
Clears errors from the developer console.
It's like the documentation says it all. Warnings, errors and messages to the console are basically different things)
But in fact, in the comments there is a solution and presumably the answer - why it doesn’t work.
