Why doesn't Acronis allow you to restore a backup from a flash drive and changes the drive letter?

Immediately after reinstalling windows and installing drivers and all the necessary programs, I made a clean image of Windows using Acronis True Image.

The image was stored on a laptop. It's time to recover from it, when I try to do this, I get a message that it is impossible to restore the partition, because the backup is on the same hard drive (which is logical ...).

I try to restore from a USB flash drive, but Acronis starts acting weird:
1. I copied the image to a USB flash drive -
2. I select this copy in Acronis -
3. And then the funniest thing is, after the selection, the drive letter changes and Acronis cannot find the image -

When you try to click Browse and select image again - the situation repeats itself. How can this be resolved?
