Why does yota stop working on Windows after installing linux as a second system?

Windows 10 was available, yota worked fine. I installed linux mint as a second system, now there is Internet from yota on linux, but it refuses to work on Windows, although the indicator on the modem itself is on. USB modem. In what there can be a problem, prompt please.

If it doesn't work out by provisioning the modem, then I have some sad news for you - Linux overwrote the modem's firmware when it booted up.
This is due to the fact that the developers of modems (and other devices) distribute part of the driver only in binary (compiled) form, that is, they did it out of good intentions. But the wrong version ....
I had this with a DLink USB modem. I had to throw it out.

You can hard reset the modem to reset the firmware. True, according to the instructions for this, you need to connect a modem. If it works in Linux, then from it go to 10.0.0.1 or status.yota.ru. More precisely, at status.yota.ru/advanced. For some reason, the redirect worked for me, but the reset div can be displayed using developer tools. The modem will go into reboot, disconnect and reconnect, but already under Windows.
